Who would have thought?

Just when you believed you knew everything about Minecraft.
I had the initial idea for this toon a while ago and kept adding new gags as it was drawn. Nearly every object in this scene is associated in some way to its neighbouring mob character (a few are more cryptic than others, and may require lateral thinking) - try and make the connections. :D

And yes, due to my infuriatingly meticulous attention to detail this drawing took an exhausting length of time to complete (two weeks of solid dedication), though I don't regret a single moment of it. Minecraft is fun. :giggle:

I love the way you take the Bill Watterson approach to Minecraft's monsters with this. Are the monsters REALLY inhuman things or just actors, chilling in their little room complete with dartboard and TV and pinup poster before waiting to go out and perform?

It's a bit obvious that this art piece was made in the approach you described; some things look a little obviously tacked-on as you came up with more gags to throw in, but the net effect is darn hilarious. The Enderman being a runt on stilts with anger problems gets my vote for most snickerworthy, and the spider's eyes being rechargable is a unique twist. All in all it's not the most gorgeous Minecraft fanart in existence, but very much good for a laugh.
