Yet another overly complex scene which took an aeon to complete; in future I'll try to keep my drawings more simplified and to the point (though I very much doubt it).
I experimented with some fancy lighting effects around the fires and glowstone, which I think looks nice and helps enhance the atmosphere. Spending so much time on this toon has certainly made me appreciate the devilishly-cruel magnificence of the Nether.

Vision Originality Technique
ImpactAll of your Minecraft art is funny on multiple levels from the simple to the subtle and this picture is certainly no exception. My personal favorite would have to be the pigman 'tanning' with 'Magma Cream' and a speedo, no less, while his leg is being seasoned by his hungry companion. The Magma Cube spread out like toppled dominoes would be a close second, and bonus points for a clever use of the mob's physical makeup.
My only beefs are that the lighting is very flat except for the super-simple glow around the fires in the foreground. No smoke, no shadows, no nothing, and the lack is noticeable when you're looking closely.
